Masturbation Is My Religion!

My best friend, apart from my beloved partner, is the greatest male masturbator I have ever known. He sometimes said: "Nature is my God. Masturbation is my Religion!" There are good reasons from his personal history that he came to this amazing place!

Stimulation of the penis as a religious experience is nothing new, as the highly phallocentric culture of Ancient Egypt, quite well-preserved, makes clear.

Though I do not publicly share face photos of the man I call "Benjamin Milagro" in my upcoming novel LOVE MADE VISIBLE, he specificlaly requested I write his story, only changing the names. Hopefully the book will be published within the next month or two, in late August or September, 2025.

Unfortunately this blog does not contain a font with the correctly accented "i" to render what is pronounced in Spanish as "Ben-huh-MEEN." Though I will not say much about his story here, he survived a Catholic boyhood of anti-sexual beliefs.

Also, his own strong libido and innate sensuality were at odds with his culture and religion. Feeling he needed "God's help" not to masturbate--considered a mortal sin!--he spent ages12-23 in a seminary training to become a priest.

He spent hundreds of nights erect and leaking pre-cum, but seldom touched his penis. Once he left the seminary, he still face challenges to become the remarkably intelligent, generous, wise, huge-hearted man he was. But deep in his core he knew: "Nature is my God."

As his work began to take him around the world, like many men who travel for business, in hotel rooms, he masturbated often. Benjamin devoted himself to refining his self-pleasure skills through practice, practice, practice. Then when we actually met for the first time in 2005, he also experienced his same-sex attraction.

"Masturbation Is My Religion!" This means, though you may also enjoy other erotic pleasures, self-pleasure remains primary for you. Like all spiritual practices such as sitting meditation, it is your own responsibility to cultivate the practice.

The Catholic teaching that masturbation is a mortal sin, which will land you in Hell if you do not do penance, actually reflects what the Taoist teacher Mantak Chia says: "A man can masturbate his way to Heaven." Chia means, so long as you don't ejaculate too often!

Most definitely, self-pleasure practiced consciously, mindfully, is a natural and profound spiritual path for men. It enhances self-esteem and benefits mental health, emotional maturity--the simple joy of embodied existence!

No doubt the very reason that many religions condemn male masturbation is because touching your penis can indeed put you in direct contact wiht the Divine!

You need not call it your religioun, of course, to regard self-pleasure as a central and crucial aspect of your human embodiement.

Though you may enjoy employment of erotic imagery, visual or even written to inspire your arousal, previously unknown plateaus of bliss you can climb, higher and higher, are avaialable when you let go of external sources of stimulation. Challenge yourself to see how intense you can make your pure penis pleasure without ejaculation. Ejaculation is great--every man loves it! But to fixate on it is also a trap.

Pornography is not the way to go, even if you use it as a launchapd into low erotic orbit. Still, to observe and emulate men whose masturbation is exemplary and excellent can inspire you to new heights! Also, it is extremely valuable to admire your own penis, of course!
